This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Edura (https://www.getedura.com), operated by Hamilton Consulting LLC. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the platform.
By using Edura, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
Short version
- -Edura is for lawful educational discovery, planning, publishing, and collaboration.
- -Do not post illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, sexually explicit, or infringing content.
- -Do not scrape, attack, bypass, or misuse the platform or other users' accounts.
- -Do not use AI features to create harmful content, cheat, or bypass safeguards.
- -Severe violations can lead to immediate removal, suspension, reporting, or termination.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:
- Spam: Unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive content, or promotional material unrelated to educational purposes
- Hate speech: Content that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age
- Illegal content: Material that violates any applicable law, including copyrighted content you do not have the right to share
- CSAM: Any child sexual abuse material or content that sexualizes minors in any way. We report all instances to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities
- Malware: Viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any software designed to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Harassment: Threats, bullying, doxxing, or content intended to intimidate or harm others
- Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading information that could cause harm, particularly regarding health, safety, or educational credentials
- Explicit content: Sexually explicit or gratuitously violent content
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
- Create multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate platform features (e.g., fake reviews, artificial likes)
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform without written authorization
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without prior written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or platform infrastructure
- Interfere with the platform's operation, including DDoS attacks or exploiting vulnerabilities
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Use the platform for any purpose unrelated to education or the platform's intended use
3. AI Assistant Rules
When using the Edura AI assistant, you must not:
- Attempt to "jailbreak" or bypass the AI's safety guidelines and content filters
- Use the AI to generate harmful, illegal, discriminatory, or misleading content
- Use the AI to create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Use the AI to generate academic work with the intent to submit it as your own without proper disclosure
- Exploit the AI to extract training data or proprietary information
- Use the AI in ways that could harm minors
4. User-Generated Content Standards
4.1 Comments and Reviews
Comments and reviews must be genuine, relevant, and constructive. You must not:
- Post fake reviews or ratings
- Post reviews for listings you have not genuinely interacted with
- Offer or accept compensation for reviews
- Post repetitive or copy-pasted reviews across multiple listings
4.2 Blog Posts
Blog posts must be original, educational, and relevant to the platform's community. Plagiarized content will be removed.
4.3 Chat Messages
Messages in the AI assistant and any community features must comply with the same content standards as all other user-generated content.
5. Listing Submission Standards
Listings submitted to Edura must:
- Contain accurate and truthful information about the educational resource
- Not promote fraudulent, deceptive, or predatory educational programs
- Not include misleading claims about outcomes, certifications, or accreditation
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Enforcement
We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may take the following actions:
- Warning: A notification about the violation and a request to correct the behavior
- Content removal: Removal of offending content without prior notice
- Temporary suspension: Temporary restriction of account access
- Permanent termination: Permanent deletion of the account and all associated data
- Legal action: Reporting to law enforcement where required or appropriate
We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate at our sole discretion. Severe violations (CSAM, credible threats, illegal activity) may result in immediate termination without warning.
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it to us at support@getedura.com. Include as much detail as possible, including links and screenshots. We will review reports and take action as appropriate.
